Handover of Tea Packing Machine-Contributing to High Production
PETRA TEXTIMA Proudly to announce that we have successfully handing over 1 Unit Automatic Pyramid tea packing machine to our client PT XYZ. The Process of transferring the operation of the machine is done in September 5, 2020.
In line with PT XYZ’s plan to produce and sell Premium Tea, Fully Automatic Packaging machine is required, starting from Blending, Weighing and Packing Processes.
In conventional process, Blending, Weighing and Packing are carried out manually by hand. This process generated a lot of problem and low production rate, such as:
- Uneven Blending ratio
- Unequal weight between each tea bag
- Low production rate
- High waste of materials
- Poor packing quality
- Requirement of man power is high
From August 2020, PETRA TEXTIMA worked together with PT XYZ, supplying the Machine as well as it is transport, installation and commissioning and supplies other equipment along with compressor unit. The Machine started in Operation on September 5, 2020, the same day as the handover.
The Facility features user friendly machine, working in automatic way (only require 1 operator to start/stop the machine and to feed the materials). The Machine is designed for packing pyramid tea bag with three-layered envelope which is suitable for packing various tea leaf, flower tea, herb tea, fruit tea and blend tea. Other features of the machine are:
- Ultrasonic sealing for inner bags allow straight line cutting and avoid wasting
- Electronic scales filling system with PLC and touch screen for easy operation
- Flexibility of operation through optional adjustment of technical parameters
- Working capacity can reach 3000 bags/hour (determined by tea material)
- Can handle different tea materials such as Nylon, PLA Fiber, PET, Nonwoven fabric and other ultrasonic sealing materials
- Constructed from SS304 for whole machine body and parts contacted with tea materials.

- Inner Film Width : 120mm, 140mm or 160mm
- Outer Film Width : Decided by inner film size
- Outer Bag Type : Back sealing or 3-side sealing
- Inner Film Material : PLA Fiber, Nylon, Non-Woven Fabric, or other which can be sealed by ultrasonic
- Volume : about 3kg per scale
- Power : 2200 kW
- Voltage : 220V, 50Hz
- Air Consumption : 0.4M3 /Min at 0.6Mpa
