Energy Consumption is most crucial factor to measure overall performance of Waste Water Treatment Plant. Typically, Aeration Process will contribute to 50-90% to total energy consumption. Selecting the right type of aerator is the key factor to minimize the consumption of electricity and to supply oxygen demand in optimum level.

A Variety of different aerator or diffusers are widely available for Aeration tank, such as surface aerator, jet aerator or membrane type diffusers. Those type of aerators or diffuser has been widely used since 40 years.

Apart from the availability in the market since decades, Membrane Air diffuser and Mechanical Aerator, there are some disadvantages from those products that don’t meet today’s demand such as: low power consumption, longer life time, free maintenance as well as total investment cost.

 In accordance with our company concern that always strives to provide solutions to overcome those challenges, PETRA TEXTIMA proudly introduced PENTAGON SHAPE AERATOR to Indonesian Market. Official Collaboration between PETRA TEXTIMA and the Inventor of PENTAGON SHAPE AERATOR (Solace Co.Ltd /Japanese Manufacturer) was conducted in February 2020 at THE ANDALAS FORUM.

The collaboration between PETRA TEXTIMA and Solace immediately gained the trust from the industries. The 1st Project was received from PT. WIRATAMA PRIMA TEXTILE INDUSTRY.

4 Unit of PENTAGON AERATOR at PT WIRATAMA

After installation of PENTAGON Aerators, The Performance of Aeration tank at PT WIRATAMA works well. Due to wide covering area of Pentagon aerator (up to 12 M2 per one unit of Pentagon Aerator), Installation of Pentagon Aerator is faster, easier and less piping materials. Due to high stirring capability, odors that usually occurred because of flocculation can be avoided. Pentagon Aerator is constructed from SS304 and Resin Mold. Those Materials are expected to extend the life time of Pentagon Aerator by at least 15 years. 

Features of PENTAGON AERATOR:

  1. Freely applicable when the water is 1m or deeper. Freely applicable to existing or new tank as long as the water 1m or deeper
  1. No Clogging (Pentagonal Tube Opening 80x130mm). Worry free from clogging because of large-diameter opening and intermittent running, de-nitrification can be freely performed.
  1. Power Cost Reduction up to 20-40%. With small pressure loss between air intake and discharge, the power cost can be substantially reduced.
  1. No Sludge flocculation on the bottom tank. Sludge on bottom tank is drawn into the pentagonal cylinder.
  1. High Oxygen transfer rate. Sludge and Air are broken down into fine particle and increase oxygen transfer rate, while colliding, being stirred and rotating. This is how our Pentagon Aerator purifies the water.
  1. Easy Maintenance and Management due to its simple structure. The main body is made from stainless steel and the inside part is made of molded resin. Maintenance free.
